“There's no game like golf: you go out with three friends, play eighteen holes, and return with three enemies”. While we are not sure who said this, it was certainly not the case this week! John Chapman teamed up with his brother, Jay Chapman, Dr. Joe Schoppe and Cullen DeWindt to play in the Children's Emergency Resources golf tournament on April 17, 2010 and won first place!

Chapman and Plymale Law, P.A., prides itself on being active in the Community. The Managing Shareholders, Shaun T. Plymale and John W. Chapman, both grew up in the area and have a vested interest in being involved in civic, political and religious organizations.
Champion's of children's issues, Shaun T. Plymale serves on the Foundation Board of THE CASTLE, a local not for profit group dedicated to preventing child abuse across the Treasure Coast. John W. Chapman previously served for several years on the Board of The Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County whose well known programs thrive here in our Community. Chapman and Plymale Law, P.A., is proud to have helped found and sponsor the Mike Shields Memorial Inshore Open, a local fishing tournament to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Martin County dedicated to the memory of one of John 's and Shaun's best friends who passed away from Cancer before the age of twenty-five.
Chapman and Plymale Law, P.A., is also the proud sponsor of the Youth Sports Program at the YMCA located in Stuart. Shaun and John can be seen at the practices and games coaching and cheering for their kids. John just completed his first year managing his oldest son's t-ball team in the Martin County North Little League, and has also participated as head coach to his son's flag football team.
Shaun also serves on the Board of the Martin County Business Development Board working to help attract targeted businesses to Martin County to improve the economic base. John is a former member of the RIO Neighborhood Advisory Committee and is routinely consulted on local land use issues.
Active involvement in the legal profession is also emphasized at the firm. Shaun Plymale has served on the Executive Board of the Martin County Bar Association as Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary and John Chapman was the Banquet Co-Chair in 2009. Both Shaun and John are in the local American Inns of Court which facilitates interaction between lawyers and judges to address ethical and legal issues.
The firm is no stranger to politics either. Shaun hosts The Treasure Coast Forum, a weekly political talk radio show hosted locally on 1450 WSTU as well as serving on the Board of the Martin County Republican Club.
John, his wife Luli, and the firm's office manager, Kasia D'Auria, are active members of St. Mary's Church in downtown Stuart. Shaun and his wife Stacey are members of Temple Beit Ha Yam, where Stacey serves on the Board of Directors.
